You know I love to bring you new book releases on Tuesday whenever I can, but today’s new children’s book I have to share is special. My friends Jessica & Matthew Paul Turner live here in Nashville and MPT’s latest kids’ book is available today.
When God Made the World is inspired by the creation story from the first two chapters of Genesis that many of us grew up with, but this story takes readers on a rhyming adventure around the world. In addition, it offers families an imaginative and fun way to think about God’s creativity…and helps kids of ALL ages to not only see themselves as important parts of the world God made, but also as protectors of and advocates for all of God’s creation.
But what I love most, other than Matthew’s lyrical words and the bold and bright drawings, is how his books strive to present the diversity of our world and include children of so many nations, races and abilities.
