My little fish of a daughter who loves to swim and just one month ago had me counting down “how many naps” until swim team started all of a sudden won’t put her feet in the lap pool!
Today was her first day of swim practice, and she spent more time hanging on the wall in the deep end (which was a feat to get her in the pool at all) than actually swimming.
This seemed like a perfect marriage of her passion and a way to introduce her to exercise and sportsmanship, but perhaps I was rushing it.
Do I keep her in or just wrap her in a big fluffy towel, give her a hug and call it a season. Any great insights?
