IN MY LIFE
I’m not going to lie, as a former Florida resident, I spent countless hours in front of the TV watching reports on the Weather Channel this weekend, especially since almost ALL of our family and so many friends still live in South Florida, including our moms. Thankfully, while there seem to be many downed trees and lots of power outages, everyone is safe.
Ironically, it was a beautiful fall-like weekend here in Nashville where we did everything from have a bonfire and cookout with friends to begin the flag-football season for the kids. Speaking of kids, K won her volleyball game on Friday night and begins youth orchestra rehearsal tonight. Now we just have to hope (now) Tropical Storm Irma doesn’t come our way tomorrow!
