* I have to pause to boast on my kids a little. My daughter gave a glorious concert as part of the Metro Nashville Middle School Honors Orchestra on Friday night (after wanting to give up because of the difficulty on Thursday night).
My son competed in his first Chess Tournament on Saturday and took 4th place out of the entire field! Honestly, we were just hoping for a top 20 finish so he could get a medal, but he took home a nice trophy and a big boost in confidence as a result.
