Yesterday worked out as well as could be expected: I took the kids to the library after school to finish homework before trick-or-treating, it was cold so I could let my hair be my costume and just wear a big black coat, and we found a new neighborhood that went all out for Halloween…win-win-win!
It’s hard to believe it’s November 1 already; I don’t want to let a moment of this season pass me by. Speaking of magical seasons, I’ve discovered Jody Jean Dreyer’s new book, “Beyond the Castle”, where she takes readers on her personal 30-year journey through Disney – from her first job in Guest Relations to heading Disney’s Global Outreach.
Inspiring and practical, Dreyer shares insights and lessons that Disney fans can apply to their everyday lives. What I love most is she shows that if people believe in themselves, their loved ones and their own faith, “Happily Ever After” doesn’t only exist in fairy tales after all.
