IN MY LIFE
Yesterday my son had his final set of X-rays on his fingers and got the all clear from the doctor, so it’s back to tennis again! We love the great doctors at Vanderbilt, but I hope we don’t have to see them again for a long time ?
Today is International Women’s Day. I don’t mean to get controversial two days in a row, but there are SO many things to celebrate every day and every month that at times it almost seems to diminish what we’re trying to celebrate. Partner that with the fact that so many celebrations end up tearing others down, and it’s confusing.
I realize I come from my own perspective and haven’t had to personally fight for many of the rights I have today, but I hope that whatever you choose to do to celebrate doesn’t tear others down in the process.
