In today’s Daily Dash video, March 31 2015, I may or may not have thrown myself a little pity party for one yesterday…

The Daily Dash: March 31 2015 {Mini Meltdown}

IN THE NEWS:
* DC area hospital on lockdown after inmate being treated there escapes
* Backlash over Indiana religious freedom law
* New secretary of defense speaks out
* Some of the biggest names in music launch TIDAL

IN MY LIFE:
Loving: Hampton Farms nuts. Being on the Daniel Plan, I’ve been eating a lot more nuts. So when Hampton Farms asked if they could send me a selection of cashews and peanuts, I welcomed it since these are not only gluten and cholesterol free, but also suitable for a vegan diet. My husband’s absolute favorite is the Honey Chipotle Cashews, even though I’m more a fan of the sweet, not the spicy versions 😉

Learning: I’ll admit it: I got overwhelmed yesterday; leading to an hour cry and prayer fest. I texted my spiritual mama who gave me great words for “resisting a bitter heart as a mom” that I’m going to ask her if I can share with you all because it was EXACTLY what I needed to hear. All I have to say is, thank God today is a new day.

Doing: Teaching at Lipscomb today and taking my classes outside to work on presentations since it’s such a beautiful Spring day here in Nashville!
