IN MY LIFE
We made it to the Final Four baby! After a great TV segment on Friday, my son & I headed down to Memphis in time to watch UNC beat Butler in the Sweet 16! As hard as we tried to get tickets for Sunday’s game, it didn’t work out. So after a marathon trip to Ikea on Saturday, we headed back home.
To be honest, I don’t know how I would have watched last night’s game in the stadium with all those Kentucky fans, but we won by 1 point in the final second! But I can’t celebrate for too long because I have a busy week packed with more travel, TV & speaking, but I’ll elaborate on that tomorrow.
I also want to give my Nashville friends a heads up about an event my husband & I will be heading to for date night this Thursday. Holler & Dash, a new restaurant in Brentwood, is celebrating the happiest of hours with Biscuits and Brews on Thursday, March 30th from 5 – 7 p.m.: they’ll be pairing mini portions of signature Holler & Dash biscuit sandwiches alongside craft beer, wine and house made sodas.
Tickets are available upon arrival for $20 and include vouchers for three pairings. You know I’m not a drinker, but I’ve tried their biscuit creations and I can’t wait for those house made sodas – YUM! Hope to meet up with some of you there.
