IN MY LIFE
We made it home! After 6 days in 3 states for 3 different jobs, we got to sleep in our own beds last night. Normally I love a good road trip, but I’ll admit, not staying in one place for more than 2 nights got to me a little bit this time. The one respite was our time at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort where not only did the kids have their own bunk beds, but we could close off both our bedroom and the bathroom…all while being in the same family suite. It truly makes all the difference in the world.
Ironically, we left North Carolina yesterday and made it home just in time to not only see my Tar Heels (barely) make it into the Sweet Sixteen, but then we got to watch Duke lose to an amazing South Carolina Team! (I’m talking NCAA Basketball – March Madness for you non-college sports fans ?)
I have a TON of work to do today, including finishing taxes, so I’m off to it. Kids are on Spring Break this week and we still don’t have a completed kitchen, so we’ll see how all that goes…
