IN MY LIFE:
* The kids are on day 3 of state testing in school, and while I considered pulling them out of it, I’m letting them go through with it…instead opting for positive parental coaching on how to handle it so that they don’t succumb to the pressures being hammered into their heads by the school system. We always say “Cones aren’t quitters” so I don’t want my kids to run away when things get tough, but rather hope to teach them in how to sustain themselves in those trying times.
And after all, it is Friday, which means Family Fun Night! I think we’ll do pizza out tonight at one of our favorite’s here in Nashville (Blaze -which also has gluten free crust!) and we’re thinking of showing Mumsy one of our favorite’s she hasn’t seen yet (Night at the Museum 3) or potentially one of the many Avengers films. Thoughts?
