IN MY LIFE
Not only did my daughter and I make it back safely (though exhausted) from our whirlwind 48 hour Volleyball trip to Chicago, my boys made it home from church camp last night as well.
I actually drove to the camp to join them for their final dinner and night of worship, and after some failed camp experiences in the past, it was so great to see how excited he was to be there and how much fun he’d had.
This morning, though my daughter will be sleeping at home every night, she is participating in a “work camp”; she’s joining teens from about 20 other churches all week to go out into the community and help those less fortunate by repairing houses.
And me, well I’m still trying to figure out how to work my normal hours while shuttling children around amongst practices, camps and such. God bless all of us working parents!
