In today’s Daily Dash video, June 5 2015, after spending all afternoon in the water at @WildSmokies yesterday and all night checking out the @Ripleys attractions in @GatlinburgTN, we’re off to @Dollywood’s Splash Country this morning...

IN MY LIFE:
* After a quick morning drive yesterday, we arrived at Wilderness at the Smokies in Sevierville, TN. After over a week of rain in Nashville, we were pleasantly surprised to find a sunny, warm day awaiting us with no humidity.
*We didn’t even wait for our room to be ready, but instead changed into swimsuits and jumped right into the lazy river. K & I went on their new slide “The Wall” and then me and the kids sped down the racers three times in a row. After lunch outside and a few more rounds in the outdoor wave pool, we headed to the indoor/outdoor hot tub and then tested each and every tube slide in the indoor waterpark.
*For the evening, we headed a little further East to Gatlinburg to check out some of the Ripley’s attractions: 5D Theater, Odditorium, Mirror Maze and the Guinness World Record Museum. They’re all within walking distance of each other and while I don’t know if I’d settle for any one of them on their own, we loved being able to experience them all back to back.
*Today we’re headed to Dollywood’s Splash Country for the first time ever and can’t wait to see all they have to offer!
