IN MY LIFE
After 10 hours in a bus and lots of Chicago traffic, we made it! We watched how Sports Performance Volleyball runs their club team practices at the Great Lakes Center because a Tennessee Sports Performance Club will soon be starting at The Franklin Fieldhouse in Franklin, TN (just south of Nashville).
Honestly, as this is Kariss’ first experience with volleyball, I don’t know what her future volleyball plans are, but I can say I appreciate the discipline and compassion they run their program with. It’s rare to find a system with such high expectations that doesn’t run on fear, guilt or shame. It’s definitely something I’d be proud to have her participate in.
I also save so send big birthday wishes to my hubby! He’s a saint for not only encouraging us to come to this on his birthday, but for choosing to spend his birthday at church camp with our son. I know our path has not been easy, but I love you babe and still choose you!
