Today is my daughter’s 13th birthday…I’m officially the mom of a teenager! I can’t believe it. Where has the time gone? There is no way I’m old enough to be the parent of a 13 year old ?
We’ve already taken her to Starbucks for breakfast to let her get anything she wanted (that’s a big deal coming from me! Although her younger brother insisted on paying for her). We’re about to take her to Whole Foods for lunch and then back home for school Volleyball tryouts and a night at home eating tofu (yes, that’s her favorite food these days).
I am so blessed to be her mom and cannot wait to watch her grow into the beautiful young lady she is already becoming.
