IN MY LIFE
I felt like we were hardly home this weekend, between friends sleeping over, sports tournaments & games, church events and more. We didn’t necessarily get anything done around the house I had hoped to, but we certainly made a lot of memories.
We also watched an AMAZING movie this weekend: Hidden Figures.
As you know from last week, I wasn’t feeling my best. So when good friends asked if we wanted to go see Hidden Figures on Friday night, I hesitated, but ultimately couldn’t resist. And I’m glad we went!
Hear this carefully: I have never heard a movie theater audience break into applause more times throughout a film then I did with this movie. People were cheering, laughing crying and even singing at one point. While it’s appalling we never knew the story of these extraordinary women before now, I am grateful that their story is being told, both for their families and for mine.
