IN MY LIFE
Yes, it’s hump day. But I’ve realized that instead of lamenting about work, why not embrace it? Sure, it can be exhausting, but when you’re good at what you do and someone offers you a job because of that skill and passion, that is reason enough to rejoice!
I know plenty of individuals who are dying to have a chance for employment, so for those of us fortunate enough to have jobs in this economy, we are essentially slapping those people in the face every time we complain about ‘having’ to go to work.
If you are fortunate enough to have a job that’s helping put food on the table and a roof over your head, will you celebrate with me today? And I’ll challenge you to go one step further – help someone who doesn’t have a job; that may mean financially or by simply introducing them to someone who can help them. Either way, don’t take your position today for granted, no matter how greener the grass may seem on the other side.
