IN MY LIFE:
I couldn’t come to you all yesterday because the flu has hit our little household ? Luckily, it only affected half of the family, and my husband is back to work today, so we’re just trying to nurse one back to health while wearing gloves, masks and the like. It’s amazing what you’ll do to stay healthy when push comes to shove!
Because of the bug, I was waiting 48 hours to make sure I didn’t get sick before going to visit a precious friend of ours who just had her first baby on Tuesday! You know how hard it is for me to stay away from fresh babies, so this took a lot of willpower, but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to spread any unwanted germs. That being said, we get to go see the little nugget today in the hospital and I couldn’t be more excited!
One final piece of excitement for today: UNC plays Duke tonight and you know me and my boy will be cheering on our Tar Heels to victory!
