IN MY LIFE:
Let me tell you – this weekend was magical for multiple reasons. We attended The Illusionists Live from Broadway at TPAC and my son declared it was the best show he’s ever seen. We even got to meet some of the cast after the show by the stage door, but we missed his favorite: Colin Cloud. It took us coming back three times, but we finally caught him and it was well worth the effort to see the impact it made on my son!
On Saturday, my girl actually went to Goodwill with me (twice!) and found multiple items she loved; this is a HUGE deal for my teenager who, up until this point, only desired to buy new, brand-name items. Then on Sunday, my fellow Dollywood Insider and friend, Katie, came to town to watch her nieces perform in Saam Psalms Together Songs put on by the Rejoice School of Ballet. The Nashville youngsters tackled some powerful and charged topics, including slavery & racism, all through dance. It will be performed again this weekend and I highly recommend going (and taking your kids!).
