IN MY LIFE:
* I’m thankful for all your prayers while I was away at my dad’s memorial service: there was a lot of tears but also a lot of laughter, just as my dad would have wanted.
We stayed a little later in Chicago so that the kids could experience some of my favorite things to do there during the holidays, including a trip to Watertower place & the Museum of science and industry… As well as some new favorites like dinner at Remington’s, ice skating at Maggie Daley park and hand dipping chocolate covered strawberries at Fannie May chocolates. I’ll have a wrap up on the blog this week in case you want to experience some of the same Chicago family-friendly fun this holiday season.
The only downside was that our flight got canceled last night and so we’re working on just a few hours sleep today as we slip back into our normal routine.
