We found a frugal way to celebrate my son’s half-birthday tonight…

I spent the morning with my daughter at the dentist filling 3 of the 6 cavities they found at her last dental cleaning. If you had told me one of my kids would have 6 cavities and the other would have none, it wouldn’t be the two they told me. Turns out, genetics play a part in enamel growth…who knew?
On a sweeter note, we’re celebrating my son’s half-birthday a little early because for months he’s been requesting to go to The Melting Pot for said celebration, but we didn’t think the price tag was worthy of a half-birthday dinner. Turns out, he only really likes the chocolate, so we discovered they have a half-price cheese and chocolate special Monday through Thursday! So off we go one day early to make his chocolate dreams come true (luckily he wasn’t the one with the cavities!)
