How is it possible that I’m the mom of a high schooler? How is it possible I don’t have kids in elementary school anymore? As much as I cherish each stage of parenting I find myself in, I also find myself looking back on the previous stages. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the one piece of parenting advice I’ve received through the years that’s always been true is that it goes by too quickly.
Today, my kids both start a new school and my daughter enters high school. I realize no school is perfect, but we’re praying they each find their place this year with friends, teachers, activities…all of it.
