IN MY LIFE
Yesterday I had to go pick up my son from school early because his eyes are bothering him. Turns out, his eyes have trouble “accommodating”, so it looks like he’ll be getting his first pair of reading glasses.
The weather has been beautiful the past two days, so I’m really committing to getting outside more this weekend, even though allergy season in Nashville is in full force.
Speaking of my son, he’ll be volunteering in the tech department at church for the first time this weekend. It just goes to show that you cannot wait for an opportunity to come to you. He expressed interest in wanting to help in a way that wasn’t advertised, we talked to the appropriate people and now it’s happening! Listen to your kids’ hearts and partner with them to help others in a unique way, parents.
