IN MY LIFE:
This weekend was busy but filled with friends and fun too. We helped out at our church’s egg hunt on Saturday and then spent most of the afternoon and evening in the kitchen cooking and baking, even though we weren’t hosting Easter lunch this year! (My son and I even made macarons for the first time).
Sunday morning was filled with more volunteering (my son ran the church webcast at all 3 services) before we went to lunch at our small group leader’s house with about 40 other friends from church and beyond. Sunday we reconnected with Framily and FINALLY got to watch “The Greatest Showman” (https://www.savings.com/z/gi8z), which we’ve been singing nonstop every since.
Last night was another late night as we watched Villanova trounce on the dreams of Michigan. I’ll admit, this wasn’t the year for any of my teams in March Madness, but you know what they say: there’s always next year!
