IN MY LIFE
I’m not sure quite how to put this weekend into words. Ricky & I shared the story of our marriage separation & reconciliation publicly for the first time Friday night. It was surreal, but so needed…not just for us, but as it turns out, for many in attendance.
I then went on to speak two sessions for the women on Saturday morning before rushing out to watch my daughter’s spring orchestra concert. Just in time, the sky turned sunny and clear so we could enjoy this beautiful event outdoors. It should go without saying, but I spent the rest of the night watching Final Four games; thankfully, my Tar Heels squeaked out a win over Oregon & will now face Gonzaga in the Championship game tonight!
Sunday turned out to be a beautiful family day. Like anyone, we have our fair shares of ups and downs, and while there wasn’t any one thing I can tell you about here, let’s just say beautiful moments were shared and memories were made.
And on that note, GO HEELS!
