IN MY LIFE
Yesterday we got a tour of the new Tail Spin Racers at Dollywood’s Splash Country (looks so fun!) & then headed to Dollywood for the day. Even though it rained most of the day, there was still so much to do at the park, including shows, Dolly’s Chasing Rainbows museum, shop & of course, eat. (some of the best theme park food you will ever taste!)
Speaking of shopping, one of the most fun moments of yesterday was getting to shop and Dolly’s closet. Not her actual closet, but I shop inside the park that I had never stepped foot in previously, perhaps because I thought I didn’t need a small waisted very sparkly down. The truth was, they had a really fun mix of clothes at some very affordable prices. You’ll need to visit my Instagram feed to let me know which outfit do you think I should buy.
One thing I continue to appreciate more than anything is being able to stay at Dollywood street more resort. When it did start raining, we were able to hop on the free trolley and go back to the hotel to refresh and then come back to the park and hour later with things cleared up. There are so many perks to staying at three more, but the easy access between both parks and the resort definitely top the list!
Today we are driving back to Nashville and I’ll get to see my kiddos again. Not sure what’s in store for the rest of the weekend but hope you all have a great one!
