Well, It was not the weekend I expected it to be. While it was a gorgeous one outside here in Nashville (while cold for some, I LOVED it!), I spend most of my time inside tending to a sick child. I told you that B had a fever on Friday, while it got up to 103 overnight on Saturday and still has not gone away.
Interestingly enough, on Friday I also received a letter from the school saying they conducted a vision & hearing screening on my daughter…and she failed the hearing! I knew she wasn’t listening to me 😉 Seriously though, I’ve always wondered if she’s had an issue with the way she processes sounds, so we made a follow-up appointment as was suggested by the letter, but now we’re needing to bring B in as well to see what’s going on with him.
And I also want to say a special thank you to everyone who came out to my #UncommonKids book signing at Barnes & Noble Vanderbilt yesterday. I left some signed copies there for those of you who couldn’t make it out, so make sure you stop by to pick up one for you and one for a friend in the coming days.
