March 26, 2015: Spring Break Staycation
Some of our very favorite vacations are those where we never left the city limits and I can help you do the same for your Spring Break on a budget!
With the economy being what it is, every town is looking to take care of their locals.
If you don’t have the funds to travel, or want to take advantage of Spring Break to catch up on some things at home, I have a few ways to help you have fun and save money.
First, follow your town and favorite local establishments on social media; they’ll often share last minute discounts on Twitter and Facebook.
Second, contact your local Convention & Visitors Bureau to find the most up-to-date tips on what fun & free activities are being offered this spring break.
Finally, consider a house swap with a friend. You’ll not only save money on a hotel, but the change of scenery might just be the breath of fresh air you need to get your savings back on track!
