IN MY LIFE:
I feel like I have so much to tell you about today!
First and foremost, I’ll be at the Decatur Book Festival signing copies of my book this weekend in Atlanta! I’ve been so busy with the new show that I haven’t taken the time to let you know, but I’d love to see as many of you as possible if you’ll be around!
Here is when I’ll be signing (under the Emory tent):
- Saturday, 8/31: 4-6pm
- Sunday, 9/1: 2-4 pm
I also have to brag on some more friends:
- For King & Country just released a new version of “God Only Knows” with Dolly Parton!!!! I literally got chills just watching the YouTube trailer, but once I listened to the song, they stayed (even though I’m outside in the Nashville heat!). Listen to it on Amazon here (affiliate).
- A favorite children’s book, “When I Pray for You”, written by Nashville friend, Matthew Paul Turner, is at the lowest price we’ve ever seen it. It’s under $5 at most retailers, including Amazon.
Also, there is a new movie out today you have to see: Bennett’s War. Not only did I get to see an early preview, I got to interview many of the film’s stars. You can check it out on IG here.
Finally, I’m off to donate blood this morning. It’s a simple yet so needed way to give back without spending any money. Are you donating blood every 8 weeks?

I pray we are all released from any controlling tendencies we may have and go into the weekend with a new-found freedom!
