January 16, 2015: Rethink Your Date
You don’t have to give up going out simply because you’re trying to save money!
Earlier I told you to cut back on eating lunch out, but today I’m giving you full permission!
Why, you ask? Because I want you to change your dinner dates to lunch dates.
If you still want to go out with friends or a spouse, consider doing it in the afternoon instead. Everything from meals to movies and even the theater offer discounted pricing at midday as opposed to the evening.
Another way to save money is to consider going out mid-week rather on the weekend. Businesses and hotels typically offer cheaper pricing during their slow times like Monday through Wednesday.
So what are you waiting for? Go have fun…just do it earlier!
