I got this recipe from my mother-in-law, Anita, who in turn got it from her friend, Becky. Every time I serve it or bring it to an event, I ALWAYS get asked for the recipe. It is so simple yet so delicious! When making it in advance, be sure to keep the dressing separate from the salad until just before serving.
Spinach Salad with Strawberries
1 -10 oz bag of spinach
1 qt of fresh strawberries, sliced
1- 15oz can mandarin oranges (drained)
1 can Chinese noodles
1 c toasted almonds (bake until brown at 350 degrees)
Dressing:
2/3 c oil
½ c sugar
1 T poppy seeds
¼ c vinegar
Mix, pour & toss with salad just before serving
