June 10, 2015: Re-Purpose Old Clothes
Have clothes laying around that don’t fit anymore? They may just need to move to a different spot in your home to be used again…
Just because clothes are old, don’t fit, or have a rip doesn’t mean they can’t be useful anymore. Here are some of our favorite ways to make use of old clothes (other than consigning or donating them, of course):
* When your kids’ pants become to short, cut them off at the knee they can wear them as shorts
* Old socks make great dust rags
* T-shirts serve many purposes: not only can they be turned into scarves or jewelry, but they can also be sewn together for a quilt or even used for cleaning.
Re-purposing not only helps your budget thrives, but it allows our planet to thrive.
