IN MY LIFE:
Last week I was invited to attend a Media Preview of the new production opening at TPAC in Nashville tonight: Peter Pan & Tinker Bell: A Pirate’s Christmas.

This original singing, swashbuckling adventure is performed in the high-flying style of a British holiday panto. Created and written by the Lythgoe Family, (known for their creativity and involvement in television hits American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance), Lythgoe Family Panto produces fun musical theater the whole family can enjoy together.

So what does that mean for you? You’ll discover an interactive theatrical production with some of today’s biggest stars performing some of your favorite music of all-time. As an example, here are just a few things we heard during the preview:

  • Warner Music Nashville and Sweety High Country sensation Tegan Marie as Wendy singing “I Know How to Make a Boy Cry”
  • John O’Hurley (from Seinfeld) as Captain Hook singing “Hooked on a Feeling”
  • Diana DeGarmo (from American Idol) as Tinker Bell and Garrett Clayton (who we loved in Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie) as Peter Pan singing “Fight Song”

In addition to the incredible music, the dance talent is phenomenal, choreographed by Spencer Liff & featuring Clarice Ordaz as Tiger Lily (both from “So You Think You Can Dance”).

One of the reasons the Lythgoe Family was able to secure such incredible talent for this Nashville run is because this show appears exclusively at TPAC from December 13-23, 2018. That’s right – it was written just for us and you’ll hear Nashville references scattered lovingly throughout the show.

I’ve compiled the best of the Peter Pan & Tinker Bell cast interviews and preview performances for you to watch here: https://youtu.be/OcQMU7PCXEM

And don’t forget to get your tickets for this performance before they’re gone! Visit TPAC.org, call 615-782-4040, or go to the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick St., in downtown Nashville. Single tickets start at $35, or a four-pack of tickets can be purchased for just $99.

PRAYER FOCUS: Authentic
As we prepare to go to TPAC tonight to watch an incredible performance, I pray we are all living our own authentic truths God has called us to.
