After just one day, I’ve been blown away by the service, value and flavor of the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island…

IN MY LIFE:
After spending a few days with both sides of our family, we checked into the Palm Beach Marriot Singer Island Resort on Sunday afternoon. For those of you that don’t know, Singer Island is just East of Palm Beach Gardens, South of Jupiter and Juno Beach and North of Palm Beach. Locals have always considered it a hidden gem.
So when our teens requested this Florida trip to feel more like a vacation and asked to stay somewhere on the beach, I knew exactly where to go.
Since we already love and trust the service we get every time we visit one of our favorite Nashville hotels (Gaylord Opryland, owned by Marriott), I hoped we’d find the same standards on Singer Island. And I was right.
While the building itself is not show-stopping on the outside, the moment you walk inside, you know you’re staying someplace special. There’s a level or refinement without feeling stuffy or ostentatious. We’ve become spoiled by customer service and courtesy living in Nashville, but the staff at the PBMSI truly raised the bar for us in South Florida. Practically every request is answered with, “My pleasure”, and yet every staff member we’ve spoken with feels like a friend.
And of course, the convenience is beyond compare. Not only are we steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, but the resort also offers an Infiniti pool and a Lagoon Pool complete with a waterfall and waterslide. Plus, your resort fee covers tons of amenities like water sports, yoga classes and even beach chairs, umbrella and table.
I’ll be sharing even more about our stay tomorrow, but for now, make sure you’re following my Insta Stories (at @TheSamiCone) & the hashtags #PBMSI, #SingerIsland and #TheresNoPlaceLikeHere.
PRAYER FOCUS: Self-Discipline
It can be hard on vacation to be disciplined (especially when it comes to things like eating, working out, etc), but with other things, it’s easier (like finding time to read and reflect in the mornings). I pray we are all practice self-discipline no matter what situation we’re in.
