This past Sunday, my family and I went up to Owen Farm for their Fall Fair. We’d been looking for a Nashville Pumpkin Patch to take our kids to, so it worked out that our church (Crosspoint) just happened to be having its Fall Fair at Owen Farm this weekend!
Ironically enough, I had just heard great things about Owen Farm from our favorite farmer from the West Nashville Farmers Market, Steve from C & S Produce in Chapmansboro, TN. It’s located about a half hour NW of Nashville and they have everything from duck races, hayrides, & a corn maze, to a 60 ft slide, a hay mountain, live music and yes, wait for it, a pumpkin cannon! (Don’t worry, they give off a signal before shooting the pumpkins hundreds of feet into the air!). There are even helicopter rides and plenty of animals to pet.
The Fall Festival runs every Saturday (10-6) & Sunday (1-6) through November 13th. For more information, visit www.OwenFarm.com.
