Passover Celebration: Devotion Day 33
As a current Jesus follower who grew up with a Jewish heritage, I can struggle with what to celebrate and not celebrate. While I don’t believe we are required to celebrate Passover, I do believe in the benefit of honoring the tradition.
The Jewish ceremonies and festivals we read about in the Old Testament were not just about following a ritual. More importantly, they were enacted to honor a memory. And perhaps more accurately stated, a miracle.
Whether you are Jewish or not, the miracle of Passover is worth more than just reading about. After all, you never know what modern-day miracles you might be a part of by remembering God’s ancient miracles.
