After being asked by so many out-of-town friends about Nashville tornado relief donation and volunteer opportunities, I decided to stop messaging everyone individually and compile everything in one blog post. I’ll continue to update this post with all the different ways to help the Nashville tornado victims, along with what’s needed and not needed as clean up continues.
How to Make Nashville Tornado Relief Donations
I just got off the phone with the team at our church who is on the front lines of tornado relief experts. Based on their recommendations, I’ve compiled a list on my Amazon store of the items most in need on the ground in Nashville right now.
Topping the list are plastic bins with a sealing lid. People who’ve sustained damage to their homes need a safe, waterproof place to store their belongings that they’ve recovered. These items can be ordered directly from Amazon and sent to:

Organizations Accepting Financial Donations to Help Nashville Tornado Victims
I recommend making financial donations for Nashville tornado victims through one of the following organizations:
- Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee
- Hands On Nashville (They are also continually posting volunteer projects using the hashtag #NashvilleTornado)
- American Red Cross
Nashville Metro Storm Response Hub
Here is the online hub for the Nashville Metro Storm response. This includes links and addresses for storm shelters, public utilities, the Mayor’s office and a community resource list. This hub also addresses how to avoid scams aimed at taking advantage of storm victims.

Y’all already know how much I adore Project 615 for how they give back, so what they’re doing to help with Nashville tornado relief donations should come as no surprise.
Project 615 has already raised over $150,000 for the tornado victims and that number keeps rising!
My friend The Nashville Mom has also been posting ways to donate and volunteer on her Instagram Stories, so make sure to check her out.
