Be a Reading Rock Star with Nashville Public Library During Summer Challenge
Nashville Public Library is back to challenge Nashvillians to read, learn and unleash their inner rock star this summer with the 2019 Summer Challenge! Participants can register at any NPL location or online starting now!
We have a citywide goal of reading 10 million minutes, and Nashvillians of all ages are joining to meet the challenge!
Here’s how to participate:
- Register online or at any NPL location.
- Read 600, 1200, and 1800 minutes to earn points for prizes.
- Read up to 3000 minutes to earn multiple entries in prize drawings.
- Complete activities to earn bonus prizes.
Prizes include coupons to free entry at area attractions, such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Adventure Science Center, as well as freebies at local restaurants and businesses. Completing the program also earns registrants entries into drawings for other prizes such as gift cards, gadgets, and memberships to local museums. The more you read, the more entries you’ll earn in the drawings––and the more likely you are to win!
