Music City Film Critics Awards {Daily Dash: January 16, 2024}
IN MY LIFE:
Our New Year has been filled with travel, sickness, and snow. It’s very cold and beautiful, but a few inches of snow also shuts down our city.
Another thing that happens this time of year is the announcement of the Music City Film Critics Association Awards. As a proud member of the MCFCA, I not only get to see early film screenings to provide reviews, but I also get to vote on our annual awards.
One interesting note is that Oppenhemier won seven awards, a record for our Association. You can find a full list of winners on our Facebook page or by following @MCFCA615 on X.

As we celebrate voting and the right to worship, I pray for our independence today. While it’s important to recognize our individual rights, I also pray we could all surrender the need to feel like we need to tackle everything on our own.
