April 2, 2015: More Cheap Easter Baskets
Looking for more great ideas to create cheap Easter baskets? I have your list coming up!
Here are some things to remember when creating a cheap, yet fun, Easter basket for your kids:
- Decorate Your Own Easter Eggs (both real & plastic!) to use for an egg hunt (that’s always our kids’ favorite part!)
- Try opting for a few meaningful gifts rather than a bunch of trinkets that will be easily forgotten about.
- If you are going to give candy, go for the good stuff you know they’ll love.
- Look around you: We’ve learned that our kids are just as excited to receive small objects we, as their loving parents, assign meaning to just as much (if not more) than another dollar store stuffed animal that will just end up in a garbage bag during your next move.
However you decide to celebrate Easter with your family, just make sure to keep Christ at the center of it!
