Moms may have a lot of love in our lives, but there’s one thing we don’t have a lot of: TIME.
But just because I don’t have a lot of time doesn’t mean I want my kids to feel like they’re getting less of me, especially when it comes to meals.
I don’t know about your family, but in my family, food equals love. So when I don’t have as much time as I’d like to make a fresh meal for my family, I’ve found a solution: Michael Angelo’s Signature Line. Michael Angelo’s Signature Line has turned into my go-to meal when I need a convenient lunch or dinner that’s practically as simple, honest, and pure as making it from scratch. It’s full of all the real ingredients you would put in your own home-cooked meals and has absolutely no preservatives or artificial ingredients.
I discovered their scratch-made meals when my first child was a toddler. Like many toddlers before her, she was a pasta lover who would literally eat it all day every day if we would let her. It was one thing for me to make it, but as I returned to work, it seemed a lot to ask of a babysitter.
Enter Michael Angelo’s.
I found these Italian meals in the freezer aisle and thought it couldn’t hurt to give them a try. And she loved them!
Instead of slaving over a stove in the heat of Florida for a half hour making a dish from scratch, a babysitter could prepare one of their delicious pasta dishes for my daughter within minutes. And let’s face it, patience is not a word many of us like to hear, much less a hungry child!
Now with two tweens in my house, I love having meal options at home that my kids can make for themselves with the same home-cooked goodness as if I had made it.
But as our affinity for the Michael Angelo’s Signature Line grew, I figured, “Why keep this to myself?”
I discovered they not only offered convenient single size portions of their frozen meals, but also family-size portions. Everyone loved the robust flavor & clean ingredients we could actually taste and pronounce.
Of course these made great solutions for when our family needed a delicious dinner on a busy weeknight, but I also found they were warmly received by families who just moved, had a newborn or had just lost a loved one. A pan of Michael Angelo’s Lasagna with Meat Sauce delivered alongside a house salad and garlic bread guaranteed we’d be received with a smile once the door was opened.
In fact, I just ordered a couple more yesterday in my Walmart online grocery order, along with my daughter’s favorite, Michael Angelo’s Shrimp Scampi: made with linguini pasta and cooked al dente, they add plump, tender shrimp to their signature blended sauce made from lemon butter and freshly diced garlic. It is then topped with diced tomatoes and garnished with a little parsley.
Not only can you find the Michael Angelo’s Signature Line in Nashville now at Walmart, but also at your neighborhood Kroger and Publix. Use this store locator tool to find a store near you.
So if you’re looking like me and have lovers of Italian food in your family but lack the time to create those dishes from scratch, I encourage you to try these delicious Italian meals found in your favorite grocer’s frozen aisle. After all, if dinner can’t come from your kitchen, shouldn’t it come from a kitchen you can trust?
