IN MY LIFE:
I’m in Atlanta for the night with Otto for the Maverick City Music concert. Maverick City Music & Kirk Franklin will be performing at the State Farm Arena tonight at 7 PM.
I’m pretty sure the group originated here in Atlanta, so it’s surreal to be here for their new “Kingdom Tour”.
I did my undergraduate studies at Emory, so it’s also a bit of a coming home for me as well. I graduated in 1996 and worked the Atlanta Olympics, making it extra interesting to be staying at the Omni overlooking Centennial Olympic Park.
While I’d love to be seeing friends and touring my old college campus, I’m equally excited to worship with Mav City tonight!
