January 12, 2015: Make Your Lunch
Did you know that Americans Spend Nearly $1K Annually Eating Out For Lunch?
It may not be the most important meal of the day but lunch is certainly among the most costly. According to Forbes, Americans go out for lunch on average twice a week and spend $10 each time. That means they’re spending $936 annually!
Instead consider bringing your lunch with you to work. You’ll spend at least half that amount on a bagged lunch, and realistically that number will be closer to around $2.50 per day, even if you’re not the savviest of shoppers.
Of course, you’ll want to stay tuned for later this week when I share when it IS OK to eat out for lunch…
