If you’re looking to give a gift that lasts this season, allow me to educate you on some unique offerings. I chose these specifically with grads in mind, but I’m going to show how they work for moms and dads too…

I’ve come up with some unique gift ideas that I’m sharing for the first time! Perhaps what I love most about this gift guide is that not only will they last long beyond the celebration, they are perfect for last-minute gifting!
If you don’t want to scroll anymore, let me give you the discount codes upfront.

How to Gift Memberships
Now hear, me out on this, I want you to consider the gift of MEMBERSHIPS. These are items most people (especially HS and college graduates) don’t want to spend their own money on, but are so thankful to have!
Here are a few of my top suggestions:
Alumni Memberships
Recent grads can often get reduced pricing when signing up for their school’s alumni club or sorority/fraternity alumni group, especially if you consider a “lifelong” option.
AARP
Most people don’t know you can sign up anyone 18+ and there are a TON of discounts to take advantage of, including restaurants, travel, and even fitness (plus it’s only $12/year right now!).
- through 5/12, get a 1 year membership for just $12 + a Free Pickleball Gift Set!
- AARP is not just for older adults, most deals are available to age 18+
- discounts in travel, restaurants, retail, entertainment and more! Plus members Earn Rewards!
AURA: Online Identity Protection
Again, maybe not a “sexy” gift, but a service like Aura protects the ENTIRE FAMILY and assists with fraud protection as well. Great for students going away to college or getting for mom so she knows online safety measure are in place for everyone at home.
Big Box Stores
Think places like Costco, Sam’s or BJ’s where you can find cheap campus necessities or things a recent college grad will need for furnishing a new apartment.
For instance, join Sam’s Club now and get 50% off membership!
Gift Cards
If you already have a warehouse club membership, consider buying gift cards in bulk there. Graduates love gift cards from favorite restaurants or Starbucks. You can even buy airline gift cards so you can help them fly home inexpensively after they leave for campus.
I recommend presenting a gift like this with a certificate or membership card inside of a wallet for men or a new carry-all tote from ABLE that also has a warranty!
ABLE
There are so many reasons to love ABLE:
- The Carry All Leather tote designed with Paula Faris with all working moms in mind (whether you work in the home or outside of the home!)
- Remember, ABLE empowers women & provides opportunities to women, plus they prioritize quality & longevity
- Take 30% off with code MOM30
Photo Canvases
There are so many great photo canvas deals going on right now! The one I showcased on Talk of the Town was something I got from CVS for 80% off (Under $10!) and only took about a day. Here are even more photo deals:
- CVS: Take 80% off a 16×20 photo canvas with code OFFCAN
- Custom Canvas: Get started today with Easy Canvas and get an 8X8 canvas for $5.20
