Win a full size bottle of Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser!

I’ve been a fan of Kiehl’s since a friend of mine introduced me to their products ten years ago in Florida. She worked at Neiman Marcus, so there was a limited line-up of products at her counter, but I instantly fell in love with their lotions. The simplicity of both the packaging and ingredient list reminded me of products my mom used to find in England when she was young.

So imagine my delight when I found an entire Kiehl’s Since 1851 store here in Nashville! I was walking through Green Hills mall (only intending to get my free pretzel from Auntie Anne’s last month!) and discovered this bright and beautiful sanctuary. I must have looked star-struck, because I was not only greeted cheerfully, but promptly asked if I had any questions.

“I didn’t know you had entire stores with Kiehl’s in them,” was the best I could come up with.

Mindy Jo proceeded to give me a quick introduction to the variety of products they offered.

I was still in awe.

As I began to inquire about their skin care line, my children discovered the skeleton hanging in the corner (don’t ask), so I knew I had limited time to chat. That being said, Mindy correctly assessed that my skin looked “stressed” (isn’t that a much nicer than saying I was broken out like a teenager?!) and quickly offered me a variety of samples that met my specific needs, including:

*Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser
*Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Moisturizer
*Kiehl’s Over-Night Biological Peel

Perhaps the most popular and time-tested product in the “Blue” line, Kiehl’s Blue Astringent Herbal Toner, has been around over 45 years! What I love about the Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser is that not only does it contain Salicylic Acid to deliver powerful blemish control benefits, but also extracts of Ginger Root and Cinnamon Bark to further soothe acne-prone skin and to help moderate oil secretion. Essentially what that means is that I can finally control my crazy skin without having to walk into the ‘teen clean’ acne section at a drugstore!

After using the samples for just one night, I noticed a drastic difference in the appearance and feel of my skin! The blemishes disappeared, the redness diminished and my skin felt so much smoother. I immediately called Mindi to tell her about my success and thank her for taking the time to properly assess my skin.

But why keep all the goodness to myself? I asked Kiehl’s if I could share my story and not only did they say yes, but they provided a FULL SIZE bottle of their Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser to give away to one of my readers! Even if you don’t struggle with acne, this cleanser is great when you have those ‘stressed out skin’ days (and who doesn’t????).

I think they should put Mr. Bones in a glass case!

My skin has changed from oily to dry as I age, and my products haven’t changed with it. I’d love to try the Kiehls line to see if it would help.

You can tell how much water I have been drinking by looking at my skin – less water = breakouts

Um, can I say that stress is what stresses my skin out? Cause it does! 🙂 Retweeted as well. Thanks!

Kiehl’s Foaming Non-Detergent Washable Cleanser is my face’s BFF. I’ve been using it for years. Before it, my combination skin was very unhappy. In the summer, my forehead was an oil slick, and in the winter, it was flaky and red in patches. I haven’t tried the “Blue” line, but I do have occasional breakouts (right now!), so I could benefit from trying the products. I try to shop at Kiehl’s without kids because Mr. Bones is a kid-magnet (as you experienced) and they don’t want him to be touched. Ack.

The change in seasons seems to be a trigger that stresses my skin out lately.
