This I hear as I’m getting ready to pay after my first ever shopping trip with coupons. Believe me, I wanted to brag, but I didn’t have to. And this recognition came from a young man with glasses buying dog food!
Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve used a coupon or two in my time, but never before have I researched the sales (or researched blogs for people who have researched the sales), printed coupons online and put them all together into one trip. Granted, it took me about twice as long to get my list together and actually make my way through Publix, but I saved almost $60 on a $100 trip and ended up with a CAR LOAD of food!!!! I know, I know, some of you out there are saying, “Well I saved more than I even spent for groceries.” And to you I say Bravo – I hope to be like you one day soon. But for now, I’m reveling in my little victory – march on thrifty soldiers, march on…
