April 23, 2015: Homemade Toilet Bowl Scrub
If there’s one DIY cleaning recipe you’ll thank me for, it’s the one I’m about to share with you…
There’s nothing worse than a toxic smell in the bathroom, specifically the one that comes from harsh cleaners. Not only are most toilet bowl cleaners harsh, they’re not safe for children to use. The added bonus for me as a parent is that I know my kids can clean with me safely, without the threat of harsh chemicals or toxins. That’s why I think you’ll love this one:
Toilet Bowl Scrub
* ½ cup baking soda
* 1 cup distilled white vinegar
* ½ teaspoon tea tree essential oil
You can also make great personal care DIY items, like homemade toothpaste & homemade deodorant (I just use grain alcohol in a mini spray bottle with some tea tree essential oil).
