This is my favorite time of year to buy gift cards. We actually budget money throughout the year to save for buying restaurant gift cards at the holidays that we then use to eat out throughout the rest of the year.
So many restaurants offer bonuses when you buy gift cards during the holidays (usually around 20%), that it pays to buy gift cards for places you normally eat out at and then use them for your family during the coming months. Does that make sense?
I’m sure this list is not exhaustive (& please let me know if you find a deal not listed here), but I’ve tried to compile all the offers from my inbox and around town of the places offering a bonus when you buy gift cards between now and Christmas.
