August 21, 2015: Grocery Shop This Day
Believe it or not, the day you shop at the grocery store can actually save you money, and I’m about to tell you why…
By shopping on the last day of the grocery store sales cycle, you’ll often find extra markdowns the day before new sales come out.
You may also find markdowns on items that don’t typically go on sale, like meat, produce and dairy that are about to expire.
Finally, if the store is out of the sale item, you can ask for a rain check and even pair it with a valid coupon at a later date.
Of course, if you’re able to shop first thing in the morning without the kids, that doesn’t hurt with efficiency either!
