One of the perks of living in a city like Nashville is the plethora of talented musicians.

Since we all know that I grew up in a half Jewish & half ???? home, it should come as no shock that I know nothing of Gospel Music. Even once I cam to know Christ, it’s safe to say my musical tastes within the Christian genre were conventional and modern (my first & still favorite song is “Here with Me” by the fabulous, Plumb!)

So when I married Ricky, I was introduced to a whole new world of music – Southern Gospel. When I saw my first Gaither Homecoming on TV, I wondered how everyone knew all those songs without looking at any words! (And wondered why there were all sitting in chairs on a stage!) – My husband just laughed at me because he’s never not known those songs.

Well now I feel as if I’ve come across the ultimate Gospel Event since moving to Nashville. Gospel Music Nashville is coming next weekend, April 18-20. It’s the chance to see some of the top names in Gospel Music in multiple concerts over the course of three days at the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort.

While they’ve already sold out of the Gaylord packages(UPDATE : I just learned there are still some packages – tickets + rooms – available!!!),  Fresh Well Media has generously donated two sets of 2, single day tickets!
