Lighting on the Green
This has become one of our favorite Nashville Christmas Events…and it’s free! Head over to Lipscomb University for their annual Lighting on the Green event tonight (11/29/11)!
It looks like that because of the weather, all the activities will take place inside Allen Arena this year, but it promises to be just as action packed! Once again, Amy Grant will be hosting a star studded concert and of course, Santa will be there to take pictures with the kids (also free). The festivities begin at 4 and the concert begins at 5:30pm.

This year’s concert will feature Amy Grant, Jenny Gill, Melinda Doolittle, of American Idol fame, Point of Grace, Opera singer and accompanist Amanda McCaslin with Jim Dausch, Sterling Gittens, Gene Miller, the Lipscomb University brass quintet and the Lipscomb student choruses.
This year’s Santa photos will be available in Allen Arena. Food is available for purchase in Bennett Campus Center from Chick-Fil-A, Papa John’s Pizza, Blue Coast Burrito, Starbucks and more.
